Tarot Cards

I'll spare you the rant about the tarot cards that came with the boxed set, as it can pretty much be summed up with a few choice expletives and a good mental image of me rolling my eyes in disgust. The grotesque imagery CPM tried to use to cover up the gay subtext in Yami was rather sad, not to mention contrived, and the idea that they couldn't be bothered to use screencaps to facilitate their tarot deck in a series riddled with supernatural imagery says a lot about the effort they were willing to put in, or rather not put in.

Sephy actually started making these before they came out, and by the time they did I was glad she had, because the simple formula she used to make these cards is a lot more applicable to the series and a hell of a lot more interesting to look at. We'll try to get her explanation of why each character made it up onto each card soon, but since we've been pattering on about this for a while we figured it was time to put them up, now that we have the actual bandwidth to facilitate them.

So, without further muttering, the major arcana.

(Made with various scans from Post Mortem & Love Me, and many, many thanks to Brigdh for the scan of the Castle of Candles on the judgement card. ^-^)
