1. You've been hosted on elsewhere for years, why the move?

The answer is really quite simple: our original host, Bleeding-Moon went down and as of writing this there's no sign that it will be returning. In any event as we now have our own domain, it's high time we stopped leeching bandwidth and give this, the first of all our sites, a proper home on Winter-born.net. So while our love and thanks go out to our former hosts at Bleeding-Moon, Phantom Moon will now have a permanent home here.

2. I remember there being a lot more pages, what happened?

While preparing for the move, we looked over the site and decided that some of the information contained herein is no longer strictly necessary as Yami no Matsuei has been released and there are other sites out there with the same information. In the case of things like the fandom essays, those were products of their time and with the wide release of the manga and the growth of the fandom, are now products of their time and in some cases, may not reflect their writer's viewpoints today.

Phantom Moon was always first and foremost intended to be a repository of fanfiction for Yami no Matsuei, a place where people could come to find quality fanfiction. With that in mind, the site has been stripped down to reflect this. There are a couple of things that do not strictly fall under the aegis of fanfiction that can still be found here (see below).

3. What's the deal with the fanfic pages? I mean, I hit a story and the page is green. Why doesn't it match the rest of the site?

Ah well, you see when coding this we strove to protect the integrity of Phantom Moon as it was in its ... Okay, the real, unvarnished truth? We are lazy. Lazy, lazy fenbrats and after recoding the majority of the site, the idea of going in and redoing every fic page meant we wouldn't be writing or working on any of our other sites anytime soon and as this is essentially a dead site, that seemed a bit much. Sorry, you're stuck with green which was the original color.

4. I've heard rumors about something called 'Unapologetic' and am interested in reading it, where can I find it?

Short answer? You can't. It's one of those fandom essays that has now gone the way of the dodo. It was a defense essay on Kurosaki Hisoka back when the character actually needed defense and people to rally behind him. These days that's no longer necessary so it's gone. It did spawn a livejournal community though which you can find here run by Odile of Shounen-Ai.org and a webring which we no longer have any affiliation with.

But should you see old sites with 'Soka safe banners on it? Those were once part of the Unapologetic page. Like so:

5. You mentioned non-fic things, where and what are those?

Of the non-fiction element on this site, only three things have survived: Yami no Tarot which is a tarot set that Sephy made in protest against the rather lame one released with the official dvds, Personality types in Yami no Matsuei by Ani_Bee, and a set of quizzes by Amet and Lys.
