Brigdh is one of those authors that can convince you of anything, using an intrinsic understanding of even the most obscure and unlikable characters to make you see things through their eyes whether you like it or not. She has a flair for the unusual, turning some of the most off the wall plot ideas into incredible fic by virtue of the thought, creativity, and sheer talent carefully woven into every project, so no matter what pairing or plotline she takes a shine to it’s sure to yield a memorable story. I mean, the girl has written convincing Hisoka/Hijiri. Props for that.
She’s also one of the best online buddies a girl can have, and a constant source of amusement, inspiration and just an all around good time to chat with. We can’t pimp her stories enough. :)
-Amet and Sephy
- A Sway and a Roll ~ "There must be a trick to it. A new way of moving, before you can be someone else. A way to bury the other self so deeply inside that even you wouldn’t know it was there. And it could wait, sleeping, until you needed it. Until you needed its strength and anger. A sway and a roll, and who knows who you could become?" (PG-13, mental illness, Tsubaki-hime-ness)
- Salt Water ~ Kyoto. Fire. Death. Salt water. Love. (PG-13, angst, shounen-ai)
- Summer’s Day ~ Hisoka and Tsuzuki on a freaking hot day with a cup of ice and some freaking hot sex. Existentialist porn, you’ve gotta love it. (NC-17, angst, Hisoka x Tsuzuki-ness)
- Five Things That Never Happened to Hisoka ~ Three guesses... No, seriously, it's just what the title says. (NC-17, Um, sex. Unsafe sex, unloving sex, teenage
sex, almost-public almost-sex, and a whole bunch of
gay sex. Unfortunately, none of it’s terribly graphic.
There’s also adult language. And this story is pretty
much one with the angst and darkness, though there are
some happy spots. Pairings: Hisoka/Hijiri, Tsuzuki/Hisoka, Random
Man/Hisoka, Hisoka + Tsuzuki, brief references to
Muraki/Hisoka.)
- Touch of Joy ~ Waking up is hard to do. (PG-13, sap, fluff, His x Tsu/Tsu x Hi)
- Final Thoughts ~ ClubSoka on Jerry Springer. 'Nuff Said. (PG-13, dysfuntion, insane humor, His x Tsu/Tsu x Hi)
